I'm not going into work today. Too sick and am exhausted. Since misery loves company, I think you should all stay home today too.

PS -- Why is it that when you tell your assistant that you're not coming in, they get miffed? What? You're gonna have to do some work today!! Just cuz I carry the bigger ball and chain, doesn't mean you can't carry it now and then. Sheesh! I'm sure my phone is gonna be ringing all day today.

i do this every day.
the only reason i can even differentiate between weekdays/weekends at this point is by seeing who's bartending down the street.

I got almost no sleep last night, and feel like the living dead....
I'm losing vacation time as we speak, as I've already maxed out my accrual...
I came into work this past Monday on what Arizona Weathermen call "MLCK Jr. Day"...
However, it is nigh on impossible for me to miss a Friday, espec. when so many people that I schedule keep calling in sick.

Nothing worse than trying to sleep and the fuckin' phone keeps ringing and ringing and ringing. CAN'T YOU PEOPLE DO ANYTHING WITHOUT ME?!? I should've gone in and gotten them all germified.

Dri, I didn't go see The Bravery cuz that's when I started feeling sick. In fact, as a last minute attempt, I tried offering my ticket to Postmersh (Kyle), but he too was busy working. But I'm gonna see 'em when they open for Ash in March. You should go to that show, babes. Should be fun.

Kyle just reminded me that I might be close to maxing my vacation accrual. Shit.

I'm off today, too! But only because tomorrow's my turn to work the Saturday shift. Still, I'm enjoying it. Went out w/ friends last night to celebrate the successful presentation, got up, went to the chiro, grabbed a bottle of wine as a 'thank you' for our marketing staffer who hit a home run w/ preparing our PowerPoint setup yesterday.

Now I'm home, doing laundry and cleaning my place up before I head out tonight and (hopefully) meet up with a lass who I think has taken a shine to me.

Hope you feel better. Take the phone off the hook, get some rest and relax.

2. I saw them on Tuesday. Why is it that every "The" band these days are so pretty? They were fun. And the bassist looks so much like this one asshole I used to date, it freaked me out. But, I liked the Vacation better. And what's the date of the other show?
