Man, I love this band. But this book is pretty horribly written.

The guy who wrote it is just a hack. And he tears apart Arab Strap and Fold Your Hands. Why write a book on the band at all if you don't like half the material they've released? I love everything they've done with the exception of maybe five songs, total.

It's interesting reading the band speaking about Isobel and Stuart David's departures, the Brit Awards, and the formation of the group but someone else should've written it.

It's probably like all those books about QT that were whipped up after Pulp Fiction became so popular.

I bought this book a while ago, and agree - it is shite.

The guy goes on a rant, including using CAPITAL LETTERS!!!!, about people who label Belle And Sebastian as twee or think that they wouldn't be into sports and such.

It was ridiculous. You wouldn't do that if you were handing in a grade eight report on the band, let alone publishing a book.

One of them supports Ayr United. LOLZ.

I like 'em OK. My 2nd favorite, after Tuigermilk, is Fold Your Hands..which it would seem everyone else thinks is their worst.
