New Buffalo is the name which Melbourne singer/songwriter Sally Seltmann records by. She released her debut EP in 2001, drawing the attention of the press in the UK. After playing some shows there and recording in LA, she decided to come back to her home studio last year to write, produce and arrange her debut album. She does it all herself, except for a little bit of help from Dirty Three drummer Jim White and Beth Orton.
