I havent heard anyone talking about this yet. Are Hegel and I the only ones who have seen it?

I enjoyed it. Didn't think it was the best movie of the year, but I did enjoy it. It was worse than the hype made it seem, but it was an enjoyable movie. I know Mr. Patrick disagrees adamantly, but I still think it is worthwhile to see in the theater.

The olnly thing worthwhile is the visuals, so I guess for that its worth seing in the theater. Sin City is 10 times the movie this was, however, on every level.

Very disappointing

Worst movie I've seen in a while. In particular, the dialogue and narration was over-the-top cheesy. I don't recommend this.

Despite everything, I did however like the line "Eat up -- tonight, we dine in hell!" My friends and I have repeated that a lot this week.

I thought it was good. Certainly what I expected. I think if you went into this thinking it was anything but a simple romp into fancy looking graphics, then you'd be dissppointed.

I thought that the CG was much better than Sin City. Everything was much sharper, and the movements were crisper. I think I geeked out more on the other 300 thread.

I went in expecting lots of blood and fantastic visuals and wasn't disappointed in either. You guys can't say you were honestly looking forward to the dialogue and plot in this movie.

I actually expected a well made movie. Sure, the CG was okay, but every fight scene looked the same and the terrible over dramatic storytelling undid the movie completely. Very one-dimensional movie.

I did expect a little more than blood and guts, even the blood and guts was kind of a little dull after a while.

Again, Sin City was way more enjoyable, creative and entertaining. This was just dull.

I knew nothing about the movie beforehand, other than that it had something to do with Greece or something. Honestly, I wasn't even really that impressed with the graphics either. I thought the whole thing was just kinda boring and lame.

The Persians get to be the bad guys just as Cheney makes a bid to go after Iran.

I guess Paulo from Lost is more important than I thought.

Yeah, I hear the Iranians are loving this movie.
