I love this, I'd just finished listening to a grateful dead album followed by a stereolab album. Didn't know what to listen to next, so I hit the suggested song playlist.

Next in queue were Velvet Underground and Sonic Youth.

Brilliant!

Not a whole lot of Linux/Unix users here AFAIK. Are the suggested song linked in with last.fm?

I've got some analysis/mix-making software for Windows that I'm pretty happy with: http://www.musicip.com/

I use Amarok some, but I actually had no idea it had that feature. I've found the software fairly buggy, so I've been trying others, but I may have to give that a shot.

What distro are you using?

I use Rhythmbox. It's nice and Gnome-y.

My roommate swears by it, but I'm too lazy to compile KDElibs against QT/Mac to make it run natively in OS X. Without doing so, I'd have to run it through X11, and that's far from ideal. Seems like it's a lot better than the few non-iTunes options available for Mac once it's working, though.

Supposedly 2.0 will run natively on Linux, Windows and OS X and should be out by summer. I'll give it a shot then.
