Does anyone know where an EAC program is available? I can't find one on the web as freeware OR to purchase now...

On my old computer I was able to successful use an older EAC program with a LAME decoder so I could transfer audio from my cd's to my computer in either .wav or .mp3 file form...I thought I had successfully backed up those programs but I now I've discovered that I can't get them to install on my new hard drive from the data file disc I made.

Any suggestions, recommendations or help would be greatly appreciated. ramibraginsky at gmail dot com. Thanks fellow obnish.

You sir are a king among men.

After I install the EAC I have to insert the LAME encoder, right? Is there an easy way to do this? I don't want to screw this up.

What's with the "Nero ASPI Layer DLL"?

Just stick lame.exe and the wnapsi32.dll in your EAC directory, and you'll be fine. The APSI from Nero just ensures better interaction with the CD drive. The settings will need to point to the new .dll file in your directory, but the preconfigured profiles take care of that. Try a profile and tweak as needed.
