I should be available... & I am one of the few that was not "offended" by the re-christening of Onopa & the attendant refurbishing, so I won't be all pissy hipster about what a lame time it is now, & how it was cooler three years ago.

i haven't been, in a few years, since it was onopa. nothing like taking a leak next to some dude who walked out without washing his hands, and then walks into the kitchen. "poppi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

I don't think we'll have any Poppy issues, now. As well as I know, Stonefly is owned & operated by lesbians.

Yo man !-We are the only CMJ vets with under 300 posts

Is the new LB you speak of the one called "Unexpect The Expected"?

I've only heard the one tune on Myspace. Hows the rest of it ? I was thinking of ordering it.

quality, not quantity.....

yes, it is "unexpect..." i really like this album. their 2nd, "grimstone," was a disappointment b/c it was too experimental with too much progginess. this is a nice return to their first -- utilizing multi-part harmonies, psych-folk, etc. i highly recommend it. i got mine through notlame.com.

I probably won't be able to make it. I'm swamped with preparing to move and i've got to work early tomorrow. I may try to swing by. If i do I'll make sure to wear a KEXP shirt...it probably wouldn't be until after 9:30.
