Chapters had a full row of his cd's for sale underneath Nora Jones at the front.

And his ad's on every single page of AllMusic.

he's a pianist. it's a little rufus wainwright, a little scissor sisters. the single, "grace kelly", is awesome. i haven't heard the whole album yet, though. it either just has or is soon released over here.

edit: wow. i just went to his allmusic page. rufus and scissor sisters are the only ones under similar artists, so i guess that holds.

He was supposed to open the Island UK showcase me and several other key Obnish saw at SXSW, but he was late and didn't end up going on until after TEH FRATELLIS, so nobody saw him, including us.

The arrival of Rapin' Rod at the Sweet Lee Morrow gig across the street took precedence at that point.

He's great. Check out "Lollipop".

When I first heard "Grace Kelly", I thought George Michael had put out a new song. Not so.

Yup, after hearing "Grace Kelly" nonstop at work for now 3-4 weeks on the sampler cd, I'm pretty much sick and tired of it.

I have the album in my desk at work and have yet to listen to it. I assume it's Freddie Worship for the young dance-rock hipster? Yeah?

It's 1/2 Scissor Sisters, 1/4 Freddie Mercury, and 1/4 Elton John. Only more flamboyant. Yeah.

I sort of like "Lolipop" and can't figure out why. Either way, it and the rest of the album is horrific.

Not true.

Rayanne's my girl and all, but she's not Grace Kelly hot by any means.
