Sometimes I struggle with this, but overall, I think I really do like living here. There are certain things that piss me off to no end - septa, city gov't corruption/ uselessness, and probably a few others. All in all, it's a pretty good city to live in.

I have to admit, I know very little about the local scene. I need to check some of these shows out. Any recommendations?

I'd like to check the opening night, and I wish I wasn't so ambivalent about Klaxons so I could hit that making time without feeling like a giant douche.

Asteroid No. 4 supposedly puts on a great show (OPA might be able to confirm this), but then I've never seen them and I thought they'd been broken up for awhile, so who knows. But I'll probably try to make ti to that.

I wanna try and go to the Rock The Bells festival this year. It's pretty expensive though and I may not make it back.

I saw the first Tibetan Freedom Concert there. It was dusty.
