Randy from American Idol playing bass with Journey. I mean I knew he did but I'd never actually seen it. Nice spandex hair and spandex buddy.

Here the video I saw:

And the video for 'Dancing In The Street' with Bowie and Jagger. Also something I knew existed but never saw before.

Thanks VH1 Classic. You made that hour go by very quickly.

That video for Dancing In The Street is almost univerally regarded as the worst video in the history of the medium. Disturbing.

chase has been trying to convince me of this for years. I still don't believe him.

and "working out while watching vh1 classic" might be the saddest phrase EVER posted.

What am I suppose to do/watch? And if I wasn't watching it you'd still be under the impression that Randy DIDN'T play with them.

So there.

Thoughts while watching the video for Dancin' In the Streets:

1. This was a really bad song.
2. This video must've cost ten dollars to make.
3. Jesus, Mick Jagger is/was probably the ugliest "sex symbol" ever
4. David Bowie's yellow trenchcoat: WTF?
5. More evidence that white people can't dance
6. Definitive proof that Jagger and Bowie were gay for each other.
7. Butt wagging at the end? That was clearly uncalled for.
