So, I had the television on last nite, for background noise, while I was inputting the rosters of my rotisserie league's teams, & Cold Case was playing. I don't typically -- as in, never -- watch that show, but no big deal; I was hardly paying attention. I did, though, catch several 90s pop tunes "Plowed" (Sponge... making some money, finally), "Wannabe" (Spice Girls), etc., & figured out fast that the cold case was the suspicious death of a high-school cheerleader, class of '97 (wOOt! nickisnotdead's grad year!), that was unearthed as the ten years's reunion approached. Again, fair enough... I practically killed myself, though -- & I know that, after reading this last sentence, Dov & Dri will want to kill me -- when "High & Dry" played over the end of the episode, & it took me 3/4 of the song to figure out the title & band.

Alzheimer's, much? Or, am I just catching what PopTodd has?

Since you're already like that, maybe some brain surgery will take it out?!?!

Is it time for '00s nostalgia yet?

"Hey, remember when Lost debuted? Oh dude, or when Spoon released 'Gimme Fiction'? Shit, Arrested Development! Man, what happened to those days?"

There's a night at one of the bars around here called My So-Called 90's Night. It's pretty terrible and the "DJ" outweighs FT by about 50 lbs.

I have too many band names floating around in my head to access the correct ones in a timely manner.

Secretly, Bob and I are able to form one freakish DJ in your city.

I just saw something in the Sun-Times fashion section that said:
"Trends To Watch For:"
•90's Retro: Think flannel, grunge, etc."

Oy.
I told you it was coming. The nostalgia train just keeps speeding up!

I'd still rather see flannel and ripped jeans again than eyeliner and skater clothes.
