Also, Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things was the movie that convinced me zombies ain't right when I saw it on CBC late night in the mid 70's.

And I didn't know Howard Stern was remaking Porky's.

Come on now, the original Black Christmas and the two Porky's movies are classics.
He should have been killed earlier though for making Rhinestone, producing Popcorn and making the Baby Genius films.

you mean flicks like Turk 182 and From The Hip, (starring Judd Nelson as a lawyer who owns a rabbit) haven't stood the test of time as well as A Christmas Story?

Black Christmas was definitely noteworthy. One of the best horror films out of the 70s by far.
