So there is a girl at my work who is deathly afraid of dolls that talk and is horribly scared by just about any doll that exists. So, I IMd her this:

dolls are creepy. All my sister wanted from Germany was a traditional kids doll, and when I found a shop and tried to walk in, I couldn't. I had to explain it to her... just WAY too creepy in there.

My grandma bought me a very realistic looking German baby doll when I was little, like five or six. Whenever I'd carry the baby around (sloppily, as most little kids do), my mom and/or grandmother would get the nastiest looks and a few comments about letting me drag a baby on the ground or whatever.

Then, years later, my grandmother bought me a German anatomically correct boy baby doll. She didn't tell anyone that it had a little junk on it, so when I went to change his clothes and my mom saw what was hidden, a big old fight broke out.

The Germans is wack.

And I'm terrified, to this day, of marionettes.

Hated it. Dug my nails into my boyfriend in a not-good way.

All three of my bosses are off tomorrow and rumor has it, we're getting out early because of Good Friday.
