Hey, Mick The Stripper, telescope, cherry chapstick, et. al.

You guys ever heard of a band from Melbourne called The Love of Diagrams?

Me and jagged saw them open for Ted Leo and The Pharmacists last night, and they were really good. A three-piece with an all-chick rhythm section, both of whom were outstanding. Here's their MySpace page...

By the way, jagged rules for damn near single-handedly changing my flat tire after the gig last night. What a dude.

Yes I have. Bon Savants opened for them last time they were in Chicago. I missed the show though.

OK. So you can corroborate their existence.

Yeah, I just saw them open for Ted Leo as well...they were ok, there were a few songs I really dug. However, I did not like the chick singer at all.

I wasn't crazy about her voice, but she can really slay on bass. I was mainly fixated on the drummer chick. The guitar dude held his guitar in a really awkward position, too.
