I loved my second listen more than the first, which left something to be desired lyrically, and seemed like she's still recycling melodies, but I ultimately think it is really good.

Thanks for sharing that. The song was an interesting listen. If nothing else it's pretty complex sonically. I'm going to give it a few more plays.

from SNL last night. Sorry about not posting it in the SNL thread, but I figured more people would look here.

My wife said she'd be annoyed that all Bjork's songs have the same melody if it weren't for the massive womancrush on her overwhelming cuteness.

Didn't see SNL last night but I may have to check out the clips out of sheer curiosity. Really don't care for "Earth Intruders" though, and based on the other bits I've heard from the album, I'm way less interested in this than expected. So far I like the album and single artwork, and that's about it.

"Innocence" that's on her Myspace page sounds like a trendy remix of any number of tracks from the pre-Vespertine days. Eh.

captivating.
did she hire a middle school brass section for that performance?
i hope so.
such a refreshingly unexpected 180 from the low-brow shit that plagues that show.
