What's the deal with finding roms? I'm getting told that the executable rom files work on a Mac if you have a game emulator? That does not compute, so to speak. I haven't had any trouble with this on my old pc, of course.

yes, roms will work no matter what platform you use. i get roms from vimms lair.

Seriously? I don't doubt you, but that doesn't make sense...why would an .exe work on a Mac?

roms shouldnt be executable. theyre like mp3s, in that theyre data and you need another piece of software to use them, which is where nestopia comes in. just point nestopia to the rom and thats it.

Gotcha. I had dl'd a few last night that were .exe files, hence my confusion. But things are working great right now - thanks!
