What can I say? The woman still has the chops, and she didn't disappoint. I don't have ALL the names of the songs she did, but maybe y'all can help me out a bit?
- Dear Jane? I didn't know this one, but she said she was going to perform it at every show until the war in Iraq was over.
- Joey
- I Don't Need a Hero
- a song I didn't recognize, but I'm sure it's a Concrete Blonde tune... something about drinking, getting to the end of the bottle, and taking me home
- she did two new songs off her upcoming album "Scarred"
Some interesting observations:
She has a dog. For that reason alone, I love her. She said that she never knows what these in-stores are going to be like, but she thought Portland was beautiful and was so glad to see everyone there. "Someone has to buy the dog food and the treats."
She stores her guitar pick in her bra.
She was pretty bare-bones, no makeup, just her and the guitar, and the woman could fucking belt it out. I'm not sure how old she is, but she was fantastic. She stayed behind to sign some stuff, but I didn't have anything with me, so I left to go get margaritas instead (priorities, y'know).

AND... I've got a 3 minute video here of her doing "I Don't Need a Hero." Unfortunately, my camera decided to stop recording right when she was in her final belt/finish, which sucks, but you get the gist. NOTE: the file is HUGE, so I highly recomment right clicking and saving vs. streaming.
