I was bored by Hammock too. But I guess I'll give Silversun Pickups another chance or two. I didn't think they were bad, nothing about it was memorable though.

Same here. I like it, it just hasn't "hit" me yet.

dalen, i'm surprised you just figured this out.

;)

without doubt one of the best of the year. i can say that they rocked in the three performances i have seen this year (the fourth on the 16th).

everyone on this board should be listening to this.

I'll see your SIlversun Pickups and raise you the new BRAND NEW CD, The Devil & God Rage Inside Me...

this record has the potential in the next 28 days to surpass Wolfmother as my record of the year!

I don't have any of their albums, but they were good live when I saw them open for Viva Voce.

goddamned viva voce. i heard a song from them that i loooooove. i've had a few chances to see them live and i'm always like, "eh, i don't think i like them that much." that's my 2007 resolution... stop second guessing bands.

Is no doubt my record of the year. This disc has been on repeat ever since the summer. At first, I dug the EP's sound, but now Carnavas is where it's at.

yeah, i've had the album for a while, but only got to it the past few months or so.

thank baby jesus that i gave it another listen 'cause it's pretty damn incredible.

now my only wish is to see them on the Coachella 2007 lineup or even SXSW ;)
