...but Jesus, do they take their time shipping stuff out. I ordered 4 CDs sometime early last week and I just received an Email today that only the second of four CDs has shipped. The first shipped two days ago. The other two CDs are officially on backorder. Why the hell do they even have them listed on their site if they have to backorder them?

But still, you can't beat the prices...

I've given up ordering from them just because of their slow response time. I'd rather pay the extra couple of bucks to actually get the CD when I want it.

Yeah, if you just want to get one CD they are hard to beat because of the shipping costs at other sites. But if I'm buying a few I've found that alldirect is much cheaper. Used to be they didn't stock the newer stuff, but lately it seems they are much better about that.

Just placed a big order for 7 CDs at overstock.com a few days ago and it shipped complete the next day. Prices were a bit better than deepdiscount. too. And with the $5 discount coupon they currently have and the low shipping charges the total beat alldirect by a few bucks too.

Spun, Deep Discount, All Direct, Second Spin..etc Wherever I can find the cheapest price is my favorite site at that moment.

I waited well over a MONTH for one thing I ordered a while back. Same thing happened with DeepDiscountDVD. I like cheap, but I'm only so patient. I like to use Cheap-CDs.com when they have what I want - the prices are usually excellent, but once in a while the shipping/handling cost takes it back up into normal prices ranges for local stores. They do ship very quickly, however.
