Thanks to Donovan (smafty) who sent me this CD as a Christmas present, I am in love. It took me awhile to FINALLY throw it in my player, but ever since doing so, it's been in constant rotation. I think I'm wearing out my "replay" button.

Chad Van Gaalen, a boy outta Calgary -- what is it with all this Canadian talent anyway, have they been hiding? -- recorded his album, Infiniheart, in the bedroom. But don't let that dissuade you from giving it a listen. It's a stellar collection of tunes. And, I'm gonna say it right here -- it's better than what I've been listening outta Sufjan Stevens.

I'm hoping that Donovan can provide a bit more information regarding his fave local artist. For now, I'll just say -- check him out right now. Post your comments and if you disagree with me, I may have to meet you behind the bleachers after school and kick the crap outta you.
