I bought a pda phone off ebay soon after they first came out 7-8 years ago. I got it for about 50-60% of what it would have been retail new and was never used. It worked fine. Why not?

i'd watch the sellers feedback because of the amount of money I spend on phones, but other than that, it's fucking ebay not earmitebay.
