After the final mix was completed on the new album on July 6th, Stars release 'In Our Bedroom After the War' today to try to combat any internet leaks that would occur between now and the albums original release date of Sept. 25th.

Read more here http://pitchforkmedia.com/article/news/44135-stars-battle-leaks-by-releasing-digital-ibedroomi-today

While we are on the topic of combating internet leaks, anyone get a copy of this yet?

Great idea, Stars.

So far, "Personal" is my standout track. The album reminds me a little bit of the pre-Amy Stars as a whole, even though Amy's all over the record. Some funky falsettos going on in here, too ("Ghost Of Genova Heights" sounds like Stars doing Spoon's "I Turn My Camera On" and making it sound like a Michael Jackson song from 1991).

Mind you, I've only heard it once through (I was actually coming here to post that it was on iTunes), but it's not as good as the last two.

It is a great idea. I hope a lot bands start doing this. Nothing worse than one of your favorite bands still being a month away from release, and then having all those jags that are just hooked on downloading and interneting their opinions jump all over it.

I meant people who download everything (stuff they know they don't care about) just so they can be first with their precious opinions.

My thumb is at a very stiff sideways position.

Easy listening Stars.
