some dude named chris vaughn was found with a gunshot on the side of the road and his family (three kids + wife) had been riddled with bullets in their suv down the road. there's apparently good evidence he did it and shot himself just to throw off the cops for about three minutes. every time it's on the news, though, they refer to him as "vaughn" and i think it's vince vaughn too.

My guess is her station was completely on board with her being there trying to get the real scoop, until she got caught on tape, which is when her bosses cut and ran. In all likelihood, they were probably the ones who put her up to this in the first place, yet immediately disavowed any knowledge or appearance of endorsement. Typical major market journalistic BS.

I think it's her station's fault for not paying their on-air talent enough that they can afford their own damned swimming pool.
