I thought I would share it with the DBT fans who tend to avoid Pitchfork.

I think this sentence is pretty telling as to who in the band didn't get along.

Don't rock the boat with The Stroker, fella!

As for the review, I think it's a little generous--the album is just ok in my book.

Not yet, but it's at the top of my 'to buy' list.

Bloor & Busty, keep in mind the copy you have has 2 tracks that didn't make the final cut and the sequence isn't completely in order. That's IF you're listening to the one provided by me.

Oh, and I dig it just fine, but it doesn't blow my mind.

At first listen, I didn't like it. Now that I have it at home, I'm really diggin' it. Not a driving kind of album I guess....

I like. By no means a jaw dropper, but it's solid and sturdy with definite bright spots. Tossup between "Dress Blues" and "Chicago Promenade" for my fave song.

thanks for the upload Bloor.

I just went out and bought the cd though, and after two listens, I do not regret my decision.
