ctrl-x - cut
ctrl-c - copy
ctrl-v - paste

As it is, I am sure there is an emo band with that expression as its name, or an underground MC, who spits polysyllabic non-sequitor that, when considered over the length of an album, actually do compose a treatise equal anything by Hume or Rawls, with an album by that name.

Windows-D -- minimize all windows -- looks a little guiltier at work, but if you don't know which is which...

ctrl-f -- search/find in many applications

f3 -- find again in same said applications

I like to find myself in the current page, as that is often a good starting point as to where I left on in the thread.
