have i just been missing the obner buzz on robbers on high street or is there none? their first LP's out in late february and i've not seen any mention of it yet. (riyl: spoon.) there're probably downloads circling. i dig it quite a bit.

the few songs i've heard by them were okay, nothing too special. i've been wanting to see them live though.

The EP is mighty fine.

This coming from a guy who has heard very little Spoon. Couldn't tell you to what degree they are derivative of that band.

Bass player in my band is great friends with those guys..got an advance copy of thier CD on his recco... didnt do anything for me...its in a pile at work somewhere.

The EP is okay. Decent power pop ala Spoon. The singer's voice is a lot like Britt Daniel's too. I hear the forthcoming album is crap. Too polished and overproduced.

It's nothing that'll be the highlight of your day.
