how so? it's an excellent doc on britpop, with fair coverage.

Its been awhile, but I'm pretty sure I disliked it because it covered all the stuff that has been said a million times before, and didn't really cover any new ground, or really provide any new insights into the movement, the politics, or Britain in general at that moment in time. It was all Blur vs. Oasis blah blah blah. People seem to forget that Britpop was a lot more than those two bands.

I enjoyed it, if only for every moment Noel or Liam opened their mouths. For whenever they do, pure entertainment ensues.

I finally watched this last night. I really enjoyed it but I was also REALLY into all of this while it was going on. I liked how they emphasized the connection between the music and the rise of the Labor party/Tony Blair etc.

Liam Gallagher is amazing in it. He is so stupid it's remarkable.

I just love the way Liam walks...belly out, arms almost at a 45 degree angle back from his body. I met him once, he was pretty nice, signed some shit, talked for a minute or so. Noel was a giant prick.

How is a single question considered to be 'grilling'? I'm just curious why or how you think Liam's verbal abilities or lack thereof relate to his ability to sing a song.

Oasis' success is 1% singing is it? I was under the impression that there is a brother or something in the band? Neil, I think? I thought he wrote the songs and took care of the business and interviews.

Noel ran the show and is infinitely more talented. They were constantly fighti9ng with each other and breaking up over and over.

That was my original point. Liam's success shouldn't be so astounding if his brother Noel is infinitely more talented and runs the show. He shows up and sings the songs that his brother wrote.
