Amy Winehouse or Dizzee. Or maybe Maps in a pinch. The others can toss off.

Of course, in this instance, "enormous pile of shit" means "stuff I've never heard, so I automatically assume it sucks." I'm more like Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer: "Your unknown indie rock bands confuse and frighten me!"

I'm listening to Basquiat Strings' "Double Dares" right now. I didn't see this coming, but it is fucking strings. It's the Kronos Quartet doing West Side Story., or some other languid drama type thing like that. I don't hate it, but I don't think it's worthy of the name, 'Basquiat'

Now I'm checking out New Young Pony Club's "Ice Cream." It's no Le Tigre, that's for sure. It's no Peaches either.

Oh man, I wanted this to be great. she could have been my new other-worldy girl crush. I don't mind it. I might track down another song later.

Check out either What's A Girl To Do or Sad Eyes. I can up the album for you, if you like.

thanks for the offer, but I can't do any of those media share things on my work account for a while. I'm just doing songs off of blogs. I'll try to check those songs out.

That video is like the David Lynch version of Lily Allen's LDN.

As much as I love the Winehouse album you'd think they could find a few more acts to pick from. Cuz like they're around and everything.
