The only Eastern Lane I've heard was their contribution to the 25 Years of Rough Trade compilation.

Is that representative of their overall sound, because I quite liked the track.

Oh, and I can't listen to these to find out because I'm on dial-up.

darrin, their sound hasn't changed much, but their songs are better. they've improved with age it seems. this album is really good, look out for it.
