Man, I don't know about that Dylan movie, but the Stones doc looks un-fuckin'-believable.

Dylan

Stones

The Stones thing won't be nearly as good as it would have been in say, oh 70-77, but its Martin+Mick+Keef.

That Dylan thing has a fucking SICK SDTK if it holds.

I'm trying to remain hopeful about that Dylan biopic. I wonder if the casting director got wasted one night and looked at pic from Dylan in 66' and said, "damn he kind of looks like a Cate Blanchett"

They aren't necessarily supposed to be Dylan, more like representations of aspects of his music through the years.

That said, I'm not big enough on Dylan to really understand why this should be good, Todd Haynes notwithstanding.

After seeing the trailer for I'm Not There, I'm definitely seeing that one. I applaud the attempt, need to see if the execution is anywhere near as good.

Did my eyes deceive me, or did I see Jack White in that Stones trailer?

Thoughts on the RS trailer:

- Jack white, buddy guy, cool. But christina aguillera? Well maybe.
- god DAMN you can tell they spent a lotta time setting up the guitar amp recording gear. Those must be thousand dollar mics.
- Lord knows I'm not much of a fan but I really wanna see this.
- "Like FIRE?" =awesome.

Yep, doing "Loving Cup".

That thing looked awesome but I have to be perfectly honest, without Scorsese I probably wouldn't touch that thing with rubber gloves.

Then again, without him, it wouldn't have looked as good as it does.
