So my station is broadcasting a baseball game today, and I'm one of the play-by-play guys. It's TCNJ vs. visitng Johns Hopkins University at 3:30 PM EST. If you want to listen either go HERE and click Listen Live or use the link below. Both teams are quite good, so it should be a fun game if you like baseball. Game time again is at 3:30.

i watched my team's opener last night. we won. it ruled.

my boss, a gigantic white sox fan, scheduled a meeting with me for 1 today. i told her i was surprised she wasn't listening to the game during our meeting. she walked out when it ended and the new guy in our department, a huge indians fan, yells out, "5-2!"

O's on ESPN2 tonight. But I also have Laurence Olivier's Hamlet from Netflix to finish. Decisions, decisions...

Tigs are blowing it as I type this.
Still, there's hope, optimism and exhuberance in Detroit. I'll take it, and ponder when I'll go see my first game of the season.

the way the Phillies are set up, they need to win every 3 run game they can.
though i'm guessing that's true of all teams.

Well, I feel that I need to root for someone in Chicago. Since I hate the Cubs with all my heart and Comiskey has started to grow on me*, the Sox have won my heart.

The Brewers, however, will always be "my" team. Like the Mets are "your" team, just a few years later in life. I'm dusting off my Cerveceros hat tonight, hombre.

*I'm no longer afraid to walk from the red line to the park.

Tigers lost in the tenth.

Still, I have high hopes for this season!

a buddy and i walked down from work to get some atmosphere before the game.....then we sulked back to work. It was a bad idea. Some girl told us she had extra tickets then waited a few seconds to say "just kidding".

Now that i'm moving they're going to be stellar.
