Well, really the reason for the short time btw. Girls Can Tell and Kill The Moonlight is the fact that Girls Can Tell was recorded WAYYYY before it was actually released.

Loveways came out before GCT yet it was recorded after the GCT sessions. By the time that record had come out the band was already working on KTM.

No, you're right. There was speculation for a while that they were going to sign w/ Atlantic. I'm sure all that nonsense took a while to get straightened out, which no doubt helped cause the interminable wait for this new record.
