If I were to, say, purchase an album, which one should I start with? What would be the most accessible?

Songs I have heard and like are:

1.the argument

2.Darkest Night

I like their self-titled, although Oui is not without its charm

I LOVE oui. It's the only one I have, so I can't really advise you which one to get. Just saying that you won't be dissapointed if this is the one you pick.

Oui is far and away my least favorite Sea and Cake album, but it's still worth picking up after you buy the rest. The Biz and The Fawn are my personal picks to start with.

I would go with the self-titled one or The Fawn but they are all great.

I think the debut is definitely the place to start.

I found an advance copy of the new sam prekop for 5 bucks. I like it, but am not blown away by it. I don't think there's anything wrong with it, but it just seems to be a "more of the same" kind of album.

The only Sea and Cake disc I have is One Bedroom, but I enjoy it. How does it compare to their other releases?

"The Fawn", hands down.

Sam Prekop's first solo album is beautiful as well.
(He's coming out with a second one soon)
