Not sure if any of you have heard this, but it's a seriously fantastic showing from them.

Elbow teamed up with the BBC Concert Orchestra at Abbey Road for a special performance of The Seldom Seen Kid.

this really is phenomenal. i listened once and actually went out and bought it from hmv to get the dvd too.

even though it's been way overused in a commercial (can't remember what for) lately, "one day like this" still gives me chills -- especially with the orchestra in this version.

tape op did an interview with elbow a few issues back

helped me respect what they've done quite a bit more, as they're not really a band that would normally show up on my radar
