their most innovative member, DJ Dexter (i think that's his name), who was hailed by such greats as grandmaster flash as one of the best dj's in the world, has recently (okay, like six months ago) departed the group due to his lack of interest in the group, saying, "I got bored." I highly doubt they'll be able to rival Since I Left You without him...discuss

oh no. i want this album to be amazing, but now i'm not sure. i don't know them as individuals, but loved since i left you and if he was a major part of it, then i may be disappointed in the followup.

he is, however, embarking on a solo career...

At this point, any Avalanches record is going to be a bit of a dissapointment upon first listen (see: Endtroducing to Private Press), but I'd still like to hear one sooner rather than later...
