pirates game actually sounds like fun too. prob wouldn't watch much of the game but i've got a pretty big interest in stadiums now.

pnc park is actually my favorite ballpark around the country, so far. (though i'm down to 15 current ones again.) gooski's, howler's, garfield artworks are pretty good bets for shows.

Haven't lived in Pittsburgh for over 5 years now, but definitely would second PNC park if you are at all into baseball. It's a great stadium, and a great overall experience and probably the only reason the Pirates still exist.

I would also second Gooski's if you want to drink cheap beer, play ping pong, or do coke in the bathroom with some underage hipsters.

I also usually recommend the Church Brew Works. Damn fine Brewpub in a beautiful old church. And it's near/in Bloomfield, which is about as Pittsburgh as it gets, and close to Paul's Cd store (if it's still even open), where you can find good music or chat with Karl Hendricks about the glory days of Merge.

Pittsburgh is great place. Have fun.

i was able to catch a couple innings game at PNC last night. that's a seriously awesome ballpark!

this new hockey arena is fabulous too.

hopefully i can get out to gooski's tonight. but i'm 11 hours into a shift with no end in sight yet.
