I just wanted to 'out' LCD Soundsystem for COMPLETELY RIPPING OFF pioneering Krautrockers Cluster.

Track 3 'Tribulations' is more or less a note for note copy of the track 'Hollywood' from Cluster's 1974 album 'Zuckerzeit'.

I'm on to you sonny boy.

Have you heard any other recent tracks that were virtual copies of older tracks? I think we need to expose those that take the plaudits for second hand material!

Doves "Black and White Town" is fucking "Heatwave" by Martha and the Vandellas, dammit.

Apparently, Nickelback recycles its own songs.

The nine minute epic "Jesus of Suburbia" on the new Green Day has a rip off of "Ring of Fire" and "Summer of '69" in two of its 8,000 sections.

I mentioned this in a previous post,

but one of the new Green Day singles "not boulevard of broken dreams", but another that radio plays alot steals blatantly and directly from Motley Crue's "On With the Show" and Bryan Adams "Summer of 69"

I'm just gonna jump in on this 2005 thread behind pollysix and point out that:

Cornershop's "Brimful of Asha" sounds a little like Warren Zevon's "Werewolves of London"

Which I noticed when Zevon came on my gym's schizophrenic PA today.

It's by no means a recent song in any way, shape or form, but yesterday when shuffle graced my ears with "Two Tub Man" by The Dictators, I couldn't help but notice how at several points during the song it sounded more than a little like '70s-era KISS.
