Just came across this blurb about it from another blog

Quote:
The label says it is a collection of outtakes, demos, and alternate versions from his last three albums, and Ike adds that "it isn't so much of where I'm going but more like the places I've been that people don't know about."

"Poison The Hit Parade" dropped yesterday. The CD comes with a bonus DVD that has 3 videos:

Garbage Day (Live in Italy)
Whatever Happened to the Girl in Me
It's Alright to Die

He's apparently playing with Tom Morello sometime soon. I can't get my head around this.

Yeah, apparently there are only 2 unreleased songs on there.

I'll still probably pick this up out of curiousity but it isn't a new album proper.

I think I've mentioned this before, but I accidentally caught ten minutes of a tom morello show once and it was by far one of the worst things I've ever seen. Like a really, really baaaaaad pub rock cover singer in the pokies room at some stale backstreet pub that smells of spew.

I was half expecting him to start up a backing track cassette and jam along to Pearl Jam covers...

One of those moments where I couldn't boo or even find it terrible. I was just overwhelmed with a sense of pity. I felt really, really sorry for the guy.
