and I think The Muslims is a great band name.

I would just go all out and name my band Allah & The Muhammeds, really stir the pot. get up on there on stage in crazy masks with turbans on, really stir the pot.

i wonder how many people would call me a racist/how much media coverage there would be.

This is actually a pretty good band. I've seen them a few times. I don't think they're name is supposed to be ironic. And even if it were, it's still not that bad of a name. Seriously, it's no worse than pretentious shit like Godspeed You Black Emperor or dumb names like Radiohead.
