No, he's not Pepe LePew's friend.

Lucky Pierre apparently is Aidan Moffatt of Arab Strap and is releasing a second album -- "lucky pierre -- touchpool -- 'Touchpool' is the second stunning album from Lucky Pierre aka Aidan Moffat, one half of ARAB STRAP. 'touchpool' provides more of the same grand, sampladelic, atmospheric strings, lush pedal steel interwoven with light and dark only a member of Arab Strap could bring. The main difference is the addition of live musicians which makes for a much fuller and more epic listening experience. A real winter warmer that sits somewhere between eno and calexico"

Sounds intriguing to me -- has anyone listened to any of his music? What d'ya think? Comments? Opinions?

Lucky Pierre is also the original band of PRICK frontman Kevin McMahon, which for a brief period of time also has Trent Reznor in the fold....

I heard about that too...are their albums any good though?? It seems that Reznor was in a lot of crappy bands before going out on his own.

a Lucky Pierre is also far, far dirtier than the things mentioned here. A friend of mine almost named his bar (which later was named the Ministry of Infomration) this until he realized it might drawa different crowd than he expected.

So...uh, I take it no one's checked out the BAND, Lucky Pierre? And I'm not referring to Trent's former band either.
