The sound isn't bad (have you heard some of the SST albums from that era?) The extras don't look all that interesting though. I'll probably just keep the ones I already have.

The long-awaited, new and improved versions of The Replacements' early work on the Twin/Tone label will finally arrive in stores on April 22 via Rhino.

The band members and former Replacements manager Peter Jesperson were involved in compiling the remastered, expanded reissues of 1981's Sorry Ma, Forgot To Take Out The Trash, 1982's Stink EP, 1983's Hootenanny and 1984's Let It Be.

Sorry Ma, Forgot To Take Out The Trash's bonus tracks include singer/guitarist's Paul Westerberg's original four-song demo recording from 1980, outtakes and a B-side called "If Only You Were Lonely." Stink originally crammed eight songs into just 15 minutes. Four previously unreleased tracks will now be added to it. Hootenanny's track list will be boosted by six previously unreleased songs. Let It Be's six bonus cuts include covers of T. Rex's "20th Century Boy" and The Grass Roots' "Temptation Eyes."

Rhino's Replacements reissue program will continue later this year with the release of the Minneapolis rock band's Sire Records output: 1985's Tim, 1987's Pleased To Meet Me, 1989's Don't Tell A Soul and 1990's All Shook Down.

Depends on the price. These seem about on track with the Ramones reissues from a few years ago, which were reasonably priced and considering the muddy sound of the other ones, it's in the 'maybe' pile.
