band practices and teaching seem to take up most of his waking hours. He's fine though.

Actually, he's probably digging up the pipes in his front yard.

I'm o.k., just busy at work and gigging. Last night I opened up for Willie Nelson's daughter, Paula Nelson. Her band is intense, some of the best players i've seen in a while.

Sorry I missed this. I played with The Black at 9:30 on the outside stage, and at 1 a.m. with JC and Co. on the inside stage. First and last, boy did that hurt.

I'm playing Beerland Thurs. with The Something Ain't Rights, and Poodies on the 16th with a stripped down version of The Black because the drummer has a voxtrot gig in Chicago. And then i think the black will be on kind of a hiatus till August because we're all going to be out of town in shifts. I'm gone 5 weeks this summer to San Diego and Chicago for that rock camp.

I really have to say no to them next year.

Didn't know about that SARs gig on Thursday. Do we have enough time to stash your sax player's hubby into a trunk beforehand? Hubba hubba.
