I had no idea that this show was coming up so soon. Good thing I just checked up on it.

Anybody plan on going?

Oh yeah, it's at the Drunken Unicorn (MJQ).

Here's their pathetically non-updated website:

A little (tiny bit) more show info:

Guh!

I live in the wrong city. Black Dice just dropped out of the Animal Collective show next week.

Supposedly they've dropped out of the whole tour. They're still listed as playing here with AC, but based on what I've read, that won't actually happen.

Ya, Black Dice're not touring for the rest of the year due to family health ishues. Oh, well. Gang Gang Dance are rumored to join the bill in their place. What's y'all's take on them?

Drinky, you need to get yourself on iChat and share me some music.

Gang Gang Dance would rock! I hope.

Not sure if I can do iChat since I'm still running OS 9 at home. Still with gmail, possibly WASTE (haven't tried it yet), uploading to my site, or something, we can work out some ways to share music.

Do you have an opinion of This Heat yet? I'll be glad to send you some more sometime if you want.

Haven't listened to This Heat yet, oddly. It's x'ed my mind many times, but I've yet to act on it.

Drinky,

Thanks for the heads up but I probably won't make it.

REALLY long weekend last weekend and I'll probably have a few beers tonight while watching the poll results.

Basically I'm garbage and weekday shows kill me. Nevermind the fact that I haven't heard note one from Wolf Eyes. Intrigued though.

May try to make Earlimart at the Unicorn though.

When is the Earlimart show? I plan on being at Redlands thursday afternoon.

I was sitting here wondering why I am so goddamn tired, I should be keyed the fuck up, I've only worked toward today for 2 years..then I remembered what all I did this weekend. I'm gonna try to notch a pre-party nap...

And Ben, I wouldn't go to Wolf Eyes with your ears, if that makes you feel any better about not going

I figured Wolf Eyes would be a hard sell. :?

Oh well, every boarder within a 100 mile radius (at least) had better come to the Animal Collective show.

They're opening for Comets on Fire next week here in LA, I may possibly go check that out. I'm intrigued by both.

The location it's at is my favorite venue in LA, so if I get bothered, I can go to the smoking room and chill out. I'll remember to bring earplugs if I do decide to go.

As I understand it, wearing earplugs for is a must for Wolf Eyes shows. They would be a good idea for Comets on Fire, too.

You should try to download a few tracks by each before you go to a show, though. There are a few here at the SubPop site.

Why can't you go to a show by yourself? You can't talk to anyone during a Wolf Eyes show anyway. And, with the news of Bush's re-election behind their aggression, tonight should provide for a really great show.

I've gone to a few shows by myself before.

I may still go to Wolf Eyes. I'll see how I'm feeling in an hour.

The Lorax makes an excellent point. Go to that fucking show Drinky. There's nowhere I'd rather be tonight.

And puma: you better go to THAT show. Wow. That's a fucking lineup.

I probably will, but I'm going to gigs all this weekend so I'll see how I feel during the week. I doubt I'd find anyone who's into going, but I don't care, I'm curious so I'll go by myself.
