Einstürzende Neubauten: The Jewels

Collection of songs originally released a track at a time through their website. This has more cohesiveness than would be expected. It's more experimental and less structured than their last couple releases. But, the new found melodic affinity that the group has demonstrated lately doe still bubble to the surface throughout in spots. Lots of meandering, unsettling yet quiet moments interspersed with energetic bursts. Not a favorite from them, but still solid and interesting listen if you're into these guys.

Lil' Markie - Vol One (aka Music to Serve the Lord By)

Damn I love this album. It's a real pick me up when I'm feeling down. Plus it's great for work - noone knows what to say when they hear it.
