Just heard a profile on this guy on NPR... the samples sounded very cool, if a little dated. Still, I should check this out. Sounds like a very cool guy, too. I love it that he's a legend in Australia and South Africa, yet works construction jobs in Detroit and is just fine with that.

I love this album. its a real grower. nearly included this in my listmania.

Yep. Its re-release is what's gotten it all the attention this year and (I think) would qualify it for '08 consideration.
