Did anyone watch the premiere last night? I was a little disappointed that it wasn't a two-hour premiere, but nevertheless, it was great as usual.

So, this is paradise?

i did! i did!
i, too, was disappointed about the one hour episode but they covered quite a bit. i'm glad tatooed angie got to stay. bye bye, miss bossy butt.

no particular love or hate for anyoine just yet.
i felt bad when the first woman got kicked off until she started singing on the boat. 13 weeks of that would have made me nuts.

Yea, that singing woman never had a chance. I was glad to see her go. The guy on the boat sure looked disappointed, though.

It is embarassing how addicted I get to Survivor.

I'm wondering what Jonathan (the first guy to get eliminated) did to not get picked. I mean, the guy was young and solid. He must've really annoyed the crap out of everyone in the short time they spent together.

And yeah, Wanda would've annoyed the crap out of me, not only by her singing, but that undergarment she was wearing when she got eliminated. Good God, that gave me goosepimples.

And kudos to Stephenie, for being the first to speak up about Jolanda, and rallying the troop to vote that bitch off. Angie was a definite goner if this hadn't happen. And I know I'm gay and all, but Stephenie is hot.

The tattoo'd Angie girl went to my high school in wisconsin. Mukwonago High School. Though I graduated in 1987, and she in 1995ish.

I was kind of hoping that she would be a cool tattoo'd girl, you know, smart and sassy, sarcastic. She seems kind of dorky for all that attitude wear on her body.

I am also addicted to survivor BTW. I'd be happy with these shows all on one night. Amazing Race, Survivor and LOST.

There are a few things that seem odd though for the 10th Season. Wouldn't you, if you were on the show, always be ready to go to the island at any given minute?

I heard that they told Rupert's season that they were going to a photo shoot.

If the producers used some con like this, why not just wear shorts and a t-shirt, hat all the time. People are going to see the contestants dirty and grimey for weeks, what difference does it make to have on dress shoes at a photo shoot.

Finally, when will the contestants learn that being the wallflower is the way to go. I can't believe that people still try to win being the boss at the beginning.
So odd, I need to sign up for this game.

Is it me or do the men on the show seem a little dense? It seems like the ladies are a lot brighter and faster thinkers this season.

Most of the guys on the show lately are Meatheads.

My opinion of course, but they (the men) all think that being a hard body makes you a winner on this show, but time and time again, it is proven that it's a hinderance.

Gotta pull for a guy who is a Dolphin Trainer this time... nutty.

if i ever applied to be on survivor, i would learn how to make a fire out of nothing the day i mailed the sucker in. end of story.

my sister got me hooked on the amazing race two seasons ago. this season we counted how many times everyone called their partners "baby". it was disgusting. and how 'bout that jonathan and victoria?

edit: nice, poignant 500th post, eh?

They were insane! I really don't see how some of these couples can even agree to go on the show. It's like marriage hatefest.

Yikes...

Does anyone else have to constantly defend their Survivor addiction? Listen, people, its not just a Fear Factor-like grossout, or a contrived Who's Your Daddy shlock-fest. Its not really about surviving - its a mind game. I bet you could write a kickass psychology dissertation on the tactics of group influencing based on this show.

Yes, I saw that! Wow, those two are sure stretching their 15 minutes... I hope they don't lose right away, so I can make fun of them for a while.

He's cuuute.

I'm glad the singing lady is gone as well. I feel as ayah did. I think the guy that got kicked out at the same time was just dismayed that he had to be on a boat alone with her.

The only disappointment for me was that Tattoo Girl and Fab Five Understudy didn't end up in the same tribe, after he made such a huge deal about them being the only two outcasts and kindred spirits and all that shit, before he turns around and picks Middle-Age Buzzcut Mama over her. You KNOW Tattoo Girl will eventually exact her revenge!

Thats where the disappointment lies.

Do you think she is smart enough to exact revenge? She has tattoos, but lacks the attitude. She aint no Gwen Stefani, she is more like twinkle toes.

She is the Suicide Girl that isnt.

I haven't watched this in years but for some reason I really want to start watching this one.

I think I'll do that this week.

Damn, I wanted to watch this episode again, too. That is what I get for not devoting my entire life to the cult of Obn.
