Thievery Corporation: Radio Retaliation

A little twist on the usual Thievery Corporation sound. Yup, another blend of electronically enhanced music with flavors from all over the globe mixed in. Excellent production and intriguing sounds throughout. But, this one has a bit more edge than typical. It's got a bit of a quicker beat, a bit of menace throughout, and leans heavily on the political for its subject matter. Nice one.

This volume is going to be one of my favourites from the series, up there with Rolling Thunder.

This should have been called The Vomit and Diaper Years.

Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers - Moanin'

And The Tell Tale Signs is a monster in the series. The only better ones are Live 66' and the Rolling Thunder Revue.
