When it rains it pours:

Romo has broken pinkie on throwing hand. Out for 4 weeks.

The T.O. freak out watch begins......

Enter: Brad Johnson, Super Bowl champion.

Granted, in Tampa, so he had about as much to do with it as Dilfer in Baltimore. Prolly less.

Wow...I just found out about that from this thread. Well, if the season wasn't already in the tank before, it sure as hell is now.

I can't even bring myself to rant about it. It sucks, but there's nothing I can do about it. Just watch as they circle the drain, I guess.

Brady. Out all season. Knee.

Romo. Out four weeks. Pinky.

P. Manning. Out preseason. Just getting into form.

Hasselbeck. Out indefinitely.

Vick. Jail.

Favre? Black magic.

***

Doesn't matter, though. Eli Manning is asserting his dominion. Only Roethlisberger stands in his way.

LET'S GO ANTIQUING.

Has he ever played a full season? They should just put that in the annual media guide.

haha.

I'd say Campbell is doing pretty good. An atrocious game yesterday but not necessarily all his fault (re: Jon Jansen's pass protection).

I think yesterday was the first time Campbell had a turnover all season. That's pretty impressive considering he had something like 15 in 11 games last season...

Far from the best, but he's doing exceptionally well.

Sucks about Romo. I foresee a TO attempted suicide again.

The Washington Post ran a thing today ranking the top QB's in the league in Brady's absence and Peyton's recovery from injury. They ranked Jason Campbell second behind Drew Brees. Laughable.

He's the fourth best in his division, behind Manning, Mc Nabb, & Romo, in that order. Though it's closer between Tony & Jason than one'd think.

I hope you're referencing Campbell as laughable, because Brees is tearing the league up. And he's done it since week 2 without his top three receivers. The Saints are also playing a little defense now, so when Colston, Shockey, and Patton get back, look out.

After Vick's career was ruined by Dogfights, what is the over under that within 5 years he is under a prison somewhere for a massive "Chicken v. Child" ring?

I'm thinking more the dead hooker territory. But that wouldn't TOTALLY submarine his career, I suppose.

I am thinking more a Eugene Robinson situation, except a transvestite prostitute. Word on the street in Boston during Ryan's time at BC was big gay. Wonder if the ATL gay scene has any stories yet, though.
