While I think it's ridiculous to draw any real conclusions based on this, I did find it rather entertaining.

I guess my question is this: We heard three people who weren't listening attentively to the questions, or maybe they are just voting for Obama because he is black. But, how many other people did they interview in Harlem who caught on right away? It was certainly entertaining, but attempting to trust Stern or any other disc jockey to provide us with any clear objective view of that issue is like trusting that guy in the windowless white van when he tells you he has some candy in the back. :)

My brother sent this to me in a mass e-mail last night with the subject "The real reason Obama will win."

Flip it around... there are groups of numbskulls out there that will vote for McCain because he's not the black guy.

[racist stereotype]But the people for McCain probably voted republican last time. These people for Obama have probably never even voted before.[/racist stereotype]

This is always the first question I ask when I see/hear these things. To me, this is purely for entertainment purposes. I thought some of the answers, especially from the first guy, were hilarious because of the enthusiasm behind their obviously uneducated responses.

Great. Another example showing that there are plenty of uninformed people out there..and they're on both sides. As was mentioned, I wonder how many people they sifted through to get these three examples. Either way, it's comforting to know that their votes are counted the same as mine.

All this proves is that idiots are drawn to cameras and microphones and the media knows how to find them.

It's no different now - people trying to outdo ! each other in extremes. There are people who like X, and there are people who say X are wimps; they like Black Flag.
