Can you link to an off-site avatar? That should work.

i had some issues with that too. originally i was gona go with Qiche's avatar after searching google images for "poo".

Edityou can always resize it on your computer, too. or cut stuff out. that's what i ended up doing.

I know what you mean. I found one that I liked, only to find out it was 10.2kb so I couldn't use it. I found something else I liked though, so it's not too bad.

Yeah, I think that's what I'm gonna do. Unfortunately, my work computer doesn't have software that'll allow me to do that. I'll work on it from home and see what I come up with.

Thanks, C.

You can actually resize pictures in MS Paint, though you have to look at the height and width of the original picture and then type in what percentage you want to Stretch/Skew it.

And the avatars don't have to be hosted somewhere else; this Bboard stores your avatar (though not any other images).

Speaking of which, it's new avatar time (now that my little ass avatar has been officially made an emoticon)!

I've been making my own from pictures in my collection.

Yes, I'm an art geek.

I'm kinda avatarded as well. I just search and search and try to link to an off-site till it works. I've tried to resize in paint but no go. Shouldn't I be able to do it in Photoshop? jeez i'm dumb.

Image menu > Stretch/Skew

Change both the horizontal and vertical to some number less than 100% and you'll shrink your picture; like if you change both numbers to 25%, your picture will become 1/4 the size it was.

I also have this problem; I wish Haq would set the limit at 15KB instead. I have an old computer and don’t have MSN Paint. I have an avatar that is perfect but a bit too big. If nothing changes maybe I will get my geek(y) friends to help me out.

I'll second the 15kb limit request.
